TSG (The Spectral Geologist)

The Spectral Geologist (TSG) is the industry standard tool for the mineralogical analysis of VIS/NIR/SWIR/MIR and TIR reflectance spectra. TSG supports geoscientists’ endeavours across the exploration and mining chain. It is a fully menu and icon driven windows program providing for initial field analysis of small datasets through to detailed drillcore evaluation.

TSG represents the combination of years of research into the analysis of spectral data and the commercial application of spectral analysis in a wide range of mineral exploration and mining environments from around the world, as well as in academia and State Agencies. TSG has revolutionized the way geological spectral data are processed and analysed. Spectra are not treated in isolation, but as a project data set with all the ancillary project data combined and organised together with your spectral data. This means that spectral data can easily be analysed in the context of the project geology, and contribute directly to understanding the alteration and mineralisation relationships in the project area.
