QuadScan

Summary:

Recurrence Quadrant Scan (QuadScan) is an efficient boundary detection tool to see through noise and capture geological features along drill holes. It is a multi-variate approach suitable for datasets with high variance.

This webapp provides a demo of the QuadScan technique for testing and validation.

What is Quadrant Scan?

  • Multi-variate method for boundary detection for drill hole data
  • Intuitive interface to apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques without the need for mathematical expertise
  • Detects patterns in time and/or spatial series data from non-linear systems (i.e., regularly spaced drill hole measurements)

Who is it for:

  • From entry-level core loggers to advanced 3D modelling experts
  • Anyone who collects, manages, and/or uses drill-based datasets (e.g., geochemistry, mineralogy, downhole geophysics, assays, measure-while-drilling, geomechanical)
